Elections yay

Tomorrow there will be elections in Iraq. So many liberals now still will not support it because their own pride and ego is tied to Bush failing in Iraq. They refuse to support those people and anyone who continues to be against a free Iraq is talking out of his ass if he doesn't care about human rights. I was having a discussion with my blog partner and we've noticed how far a "liberal" has come in 300 years. 300 years ago, liberals believed in the basic rights of man and believed in dying for that cause. Today, security is the most important. If we topple a dictator we are "forcing" democracy on the people. They see the dictator as a completely legitimate ruler. They see all dictatorships as completely legitimate outfits who don't deserve to have their soveriegnty messed with. Cuba was just appointed to the UN Human Rights committee because they are "just another" country. The UN cares more about inclusiveness than the basic happiness of man. We should put in to the charter the basic rights of man to speech, religion, trial by jury, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Any countries that don't allow self-determination should be kicked to the curb.
