Sheehan lady is an idiot
Her son signed a contract. She should have talked to him about it. I don't know what the problem is. Shut-up lady. It's like when Michael Moore asks senators if they would send their "kids" to Iraq. Of course not, children aren't supposed to be in wars. These people are grown adults who made adult decisions. They also overwhelmingly voted for Bush, so obviously they support his mission.

I agree with you. My guess is that if CNN were to dangle a $250,000 check in front of her, she'd be gone in no time. It's sad to lose a loved one, that much I agree with, but he was a volunteer, and knew what he was getting into when he signed his name on the dotted line.
-_-Soose-_-
Yes, always sad. She just is looking for attention or something to fill the void. I am sure she feels like she is honoring him so what can I say about it? I would leave it in my will that I supported the cause fully.
It seems to me that it's rather like the Nick Berg case -- Berg supported the war (and supported President Bush), went over to try to help out in the reconstruction, and was savagely murdered by some of the insurgents. His father, an anti-war social activist, then used the event to attack the administration.
Very sad situation -- in both cases, we see the loss of outstanding young Americans and the reactions of grief-stricken parents whose politics aren't necessarily those of their late sons.
Well said, Clupbert. I'd rather stab myself in the neck with a fork than listen to these whiners use someone's death to draw attention to themselves. And I'm still pissed at Bill O'Reilly for not saying that EXACT SAME PHRASE to Fat-Ass Moore when he asked O'Reilly that same question.
Fucking idiots.
